Championing Green: Our Commitment to Sustainable Development and Every Leaf on Earth

Fudy Group—The Taipei Fudy Headquarters is honored to participate in the reforestation and ecological conservation project in the Maxi Mountain section of Guangfu Township during 2024 and 2025. We have adopted 1.422 hectares of land, precisely plot no. 439 and 463 of the Maxi Mountain section in Guangfu Township, and are committed to maintaining a minimum survival rate of 1,392 trees per hectare during the nurturing period.

The tree species planted include Fraxinus griffithii, Sapindus mukorossi, and Lagerstroemia subcostata. To date, we have successfully achieved the following goals:

• 17th Forest Cultivation: Conducted from April to May 2024, with standard ground surveys showing tree heights of 2-6 meters, chest diameters of 2-8 cm, and 1,600 trees per hectare.
• 18th Forest Cultivation: Scheduled for August to September 2024.

Our goal through these efforts is not only to add greenery to the local ecological environment but also to ensure these trees grow robustly in the coming years, providing richer biodiversity and better environmental quality for the ecosystem.

Fudy firmly believes that sustainable development is a concept and a responsibility. While pursuing economic benefits, companies must also consider environmental protection and social responsibility. Therefore, Taipei Fudy has collaborated with the Hualien Branch of the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency of the Ministry of Agriculture, actively participating in the reforestation and ecological conservation project in the Maxi Mountain section of Guangfu Township. This is not only a commitment to the local environment but also a long-term investment in the global ecological environment.

In April and May 2024, the Hualien Branch conducted the 17th forest cultivation and sent Fudy the first adoption performance report. Seeing these trees deeply moved us, and Fudy is honored to contribute to nurturing this beautiful land.

According to the ground survey results, the outcomes of forest cultivation were significant:

• Tree height: 2-6 meters
• Diameter at breast height: 2-8 centimeters
• Number of trees per hectare: 1600

These data show that our tree planting and protection project is progressing smoothly. Trees are growing well and achieving the expected nurturing effects. This not only increases vegetation coverage but also makes a positive contribution to improving the local ecological environment.

Continued Support for the Tree Planting and Protection Project

Looking ahead, Taipei Fudy will continue to support the tree planting and protection project. We plan to conduct the 18th forest cultivation in August and September of 2024, continuously monitoring the growth of the trees and taking necessary nurturing measures to ensure their healthy growth.

Pest Control and Other Nurturing Measures

We will strengthen pest control efforts to prevent and reduce tree harm. At the same time, we hope that these efforts will inspire more businesses and individuals to participate in environmental protection actions. Only through collective efforts can we truly achieve the goal of sustainable development and create a greener and more sustainable planet for future generations.
