Building a Sustainable Future Together: Fudy and Suppliers Join Forces in ESG Journey

In the era of sustainable development, businesses can no longer work in isolation but must advance together with all stakeholders. On December 6, 2024, Fudy’s Taipei headquarters hosted the “ESG Academy: Learning Day for Fudy and Partners,” gathering supplier partners to explore the unlimited possibilities of sustainable development over refreshments (all served with eco-friendly tableware!).

Supplier Partners: Key PARTNER on Our Sustainability Journey

In 2024, Fudy Group demonstrated innovative thinking through four company-wide workshops, building consensus and establishing a sustainability strategy blueprint centered on ‘PARTNER’:

Seven Pillars of Our PARTNER Sustainability Strategy

  • Planned Development: Establishing a comprehensive sustainable development roadmap
  • Accurate Excellence: Pursuing precision and superior quality in products and services
  • Responsive Agility: Adapting swiftly to market and environmental changes
  • Trustworthy Operations: Upholding business integrity and building reliable partnerships
  • Nurturing Growth: Fostering talent development and creating an environment for collective growth
  • Eco-friendly Practices:  Committing to environmental sustainability and green operations
  • Rights-respecting Culture: Promoting human rights and cultivating an inclusive workplace

Deepening ESG Awareness: A Pivotal Moment in Supply Chain Sustainability Transformation

The event drew enthusiastic participation from 37 supplier partners, demonstrating the industry’s strong commitment to sustainable development. A pre-event survey revealed suppliers’ current ESG awareness:

  • 24 partners indicated they either “fully understand” or “have basic knowledge” of ESG, reflecting a foundational awareness of sustainability within our supply chain
  • 13 partners (35.1%) acknowledged they “have heard of it but lack detailed understanding” or “have no knowledge,” highlighting the need for enhanced ESG education

These survey findings have strengthened Fudy’s resolve to advance sustainability education, as we work together with our supplier partners to raise ESG awareness and build a more sustainable future.
