It is pleasant to a home filled with flowers, but the plastic packaging that comes with bouquets adds a lot of trouble for the environment. We always want to reuse the packaging but usually end up throwing it out.

After removing the packaging, we need to find a suitable vase for the flowers. Then a few days later, the flowers wither and go straight into the trash can. Beauty is fleeting.

The beauty of flowers comes from their vitality, and vitality should be eternal. Isn’t there a more sustainable way to make flowers endlessly repeat the grow cycle?The design team, Homwee Technology from China, designed BouquetPOT to overcome this plight.

Bouquets to flowerpots- more than just packaging

The bouquet package is made of degradable molded pulp, and a little soil is placed inside to provide nutrients for the bouquet. The overall appearance of the bouquet is like an ice cream cone, cute and interesting.

After bringing the bouquet home, we can simply fold the packaging along the fold line, and it becomes a vase that can stand on the table. After a while, the flowers will wither, but the branches and leaves will continue to grow so that they can be transplanted into a flowerpot together with the packaging.

Gradually, the packaging will degenerate and become an organic fertilizer for the soil, and in the next cycle of blooming we can enjoy another pot of beautiful flowers.

With proper material selection and innovative structural design,packaging can be more than just packaging.
