2023 Fudy Sustainable Journey – Cultural Enrichment x Taiwan Local Experience

After experiencing a long period of the pandemic, we are embracing a new beginning where people can travel again and enjoy joyful moments together. Fudy has always aimed to create a happy and warm working environment, believing it can provide employees with peace of mind and balance work and life, promoting their physical and mental well-being. Therefore, combining the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with employee welfare, we have prepared the “2023 Fudy Sustainable Journey – Cultural Enrichment x Taiwan Local Experience”!

Getting to Know Taiwan’s Local Culture, Educating and Entertaining in Response to SDGs in Sustainable Journey

Fudy’s Taipei headquarters has 119 employees, including 18 foreign employees from different countries who play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the company’s production lines. Despite their busy work schedules, we hope that every foreign employee can have an in-depth understanding of the land where they work and live, Taiwan`. At the same time, we encourage local employees to have the opportunity to immerse themselves in the cultures of various towns and cities in Taiwan and understand the importance of sustainable consumption and production. Fudy has made the 2023 Taipei headquarters employee trip-themed “Getting to Know Taiwan’s Local Culture“ to achieve this goal.

Lao Guo Leisure Farm – Rice Noodle Making Experience

Next, we visited Lao Guo Leisure Farm, where employees had a unique experience making rice noodles. They participated in making rice noodles, experiencing traditional craftsmanship, and supporting the development of local agricultural and food culture. During the final packaging stage, the staff at Lao Guo Farm were amazed by our colleagues’ precision in packaging, as packaging is our strength!

Beipu Old Street – Hakka Cultural Experience

Lastly, we wandered through Beipu Old Street, immersing ourselves in the unique charm of Hakka culture and purchasing local Hakka delicacies. The ancient streets, distinctive architecture, and rich history have deepened our foreign and local employees’ understanding of Taiwanese history and culture.
