This packaging product is a vehicle diagnostic and tracking device. This product uses black as its primary body color, making it easily integrated into any car in a low-key manner. The packaging is composed of the same colors (black and silver) as the device itself. A large area of black cardboard is used as the base, and foil stamped silver is used for the decoration and the explanatory text. This color combination is elegant and straightforward. However, the overall packaging structure is rather complicated
The overall packaging can be disassembled into four parts. The outer layer is composed of a sleeve with a folio hardcover box. In the folio box, there are two internal fixed structures on the left and right side. It is worth noting that this product discards the standard plastic lining protection used by most other products and adopts an environmentally friendly all-paper structure packaging design. All accessories are fixed by a paper-made mortise-tenon structure without using any adhesive at all. It shows the admirable skills of the packaging’s structural designer.
The all-paper structure packaging is hand-made, and the structure is complex, making manual assembly extremely difficult and time-consuming. In order to highlight the material's natural characteristics, the outer box is made of non-laminated black cardboard, making the packaging a stunning dark appearance with a strong texture. Without lamination protection, the surface of the packaging gets scratches more easily, leading to a rising number of defective products during delivery.
As this product comprises of multiple device parts, its packaging lining accessories are more complicated than general packaging. Particular attention should be paid to material management to avoid missing materials and unnecessary waste.

In order to assemble packaging for this product quickly and accurately, professional and experienced production line manual technicians are required; meanwhile, a standard SOP process also needs to be developed. Only when the process and personnel are in a perfect state can the products be delivered smoothly. Moreover, process management is critical to reducing unnecessary material and time waste in the manufacturing process.
To address the scratch-prone nature of the packaging, Fudy adopted a unique protection method to reduce the wear and tear of the outer box during delivery.
This product may be the most complicated case in Fudy's 40 years. Fortunately, the final packaging is imposing. The hand-fold lines are straight and combined with the circular holes, forming a neat and powerful geometric shape, which perfectly represents the fine technological quality of the device.
