富迪集團台北總部深受樹木保育生態系統的力量所感動，希望通過自己的努力回饋這片土地。因此，台北富迪與農業部林業及自然保育署花蓮分署合作，在花蓮縣光復鄉馬錫山林班地認養了一公頃的植護樹。

什麼是植護樹？

所謂的「植護樹」，包括育苗、造林撫育和樹木保護。這個計劃不是在一片空地上重新種樹，而是維護現有的森林。如果有樹木倒下或受損，則進行重新補植。植護樹的樹種主要以當地原生樹種為主。

護樹之所以重要，是因為它不僅僅能夠幫助儲存碳匯，還能夠保護生物多樣性。一棵成年的老樹本身就是一個小型生態系統，如果將其移除，則整個生態系統也會受到影響。因此，種樹固然重要，但保護樹木同樣不可或缺。
