E.SUN Bank’s “E.SUN ESG and sustainability initiative” continues to gather corporate forces

On September 27th, 2023, E.SUN Bank(玉山銀行) successfully convened nearly 160 companies to join the “E.SUN ESG and sustainability initiative” for the third consecutive year, jointly committing to achieve the 2050 net-zero target. This event was attended by the Chairman of E.SUN Financial Holdings and representatives from more than 100 companies, again highlighting their commitment to sustainable development.

For Fudy, we are honored to have been invited by E.SUN Bank for the second consecutive year to join this critical initiative. As part of the action, our headquarters and branches in Taipei, Dongguan, and Suzhou will also complete the ISO 14064-1:2018 greenhouse gas inventory in 2023, which will become the benchmark for our carbon reduction work.

Continuous publication of sustainable reports

In 2023, Fudy will continue to move towards sustainable development goals steadily. We are proud to announce that we have published our first Sustainability Report (2022), and we commit to regularly publishing sustainability reports in the future to report our achievements and direction in sustainable development to Fudy’s stakeholders.

Greenhouse gas inventory and innovation project

In 2023, Fudy will complete its first greenhouse gas inventory, which will become the benchmark for our carbon reduction work. We recognize that improving our capabilities is critical to achieving sustainable development. To this end, we have launched an annual design theme project to combine our expertise in packaging structural design with animal protection issues to achieve more significant improvements in ESG indicators.

Monthly vegetation meal plan

In addition, to care for our employees’ physical health, we provide one vegetarian meal per month to encourage employees to share green food and practice a low-carbon and healthy lifestyle.
